U.S. copyright records available from Google (7/01/2008) Google has collated data from the U.S. Copyright Office and Carnegie Mellon to create a file that contains copyright renewals filed between 1923-1963. Use it to find out whether a book published during that time is still under copyright or if it is now freely usable. (Via The Googlization of Everything.) |
