NSSE measures student engagement (PDF) (11/14/2006) According to the National Survey of Student Engagement, distance education students and adult learners often participate in as many educational activities as traditional students do, but part-time students were likely to do so. Engagement is measured via factors such as level of academic challenge, active/collaborative learning, student-faculty interaction, enriching educational experiences, and supportive campus environment. |
