Today someone asked me if librarians felt threatened by people using Google Print, Google Scholar, etc. I said that on the contrary, they need librarians more than ever. I've dealt with countless students who have wasted 2 weeks, +/- a few days, trying to find relevant information on Google for a research project, then contacted me and gotten a solution within 2 minutes.
