    UT Austin moves 90,000 books out of undergraduate library (5/16/2005)

    The move will create 6,000 sq. feet of space for a 24-hour information commons, a writing instruction center, and facilities for computer training and technical assistance. Basic reference books such as encyclopedias and dictionaries will remain, but many texts will be available via digital collections. (The story is mirrored here.)
