    Cool Internship for an MLIS Student (3/17/2005)

    Lucasfilm Research Library
    TYPE OF LIBRARY: Special
    LOCATION: Skywalker Ranch
    Nicasio, CA 94946

    JOB DESCRIPTION: The Lucasfilm Research Library is looking for a summer intern.

    Job duties: Catalog video material into an online database and assist researchers in general library duties such as filing, circulation and photocopying.

    Skills: General computer skills, strong attention to detail and good organizational skills, archiving or cataloging classes helpful. (Note: This position may require occasionally lifting heavy boxes.)

    General information: Students work full-time (40 hours per week, 9:00AM-6:00PM, M-F) and receive $10 per hour. Internship period is June-August.
